The Joy of Christmas Parties

Some people might say my profession at the moment is work juggler. Over the past year I have had five jobs and they are still ongoing!

But I am grateful that I have the ability to switch professions from customer service to disability care.

While I am good at these jobs, I feel like I am not using my skills to my best potential. However it is a pathway to heading to the United States to speak about my passion for connecting generations. That’s what I really excel at.

Over the year I’ve realised money comes and then money goes. One minute your ok financially the next your broke. That’s the thing with casual work nothing is ever permanent, you need to take advantage of the peak session while you can. Often I’m afraid that all the money I’ve saved so far will just end up on living costs not on my dream. I’m constantly replicating a squirrel hoarding nuts for the winter. It can be exhausting not knowing exactly where your money is going to come from.

But the advantage of having so many jobs is meeting many wonderful people that I otherwise would never meet in a mainstream role.

Last night I attended the MCG Christmas party, it was great to wind down over a few drinks. Have a dance and gorge on yummy foods.

Out of all my jobs this Christmas party makes me smile the most.

Quote of the day: Within you is the divine capacity to manifest and attract all that you need and desire.
